Missions Trip Fund Raiser - Fill the Jar
Partnering with Calvary Church and Rural
Compassion in October of 2009, author P. E. Calhoun along with a
team of over 30 people from all walks of life and skill sets
provided humanitarian relief to the depressed area of
Williamson, West Virginia. Below is a brief description of
items handed out for free to the people of Williamson, West
Virginia.

The above list does
not include School Supplies, 500 School Backpacks loaded on
site, a small library of books, Christmas Items, Baby Supplies,
Bathroom Supplies, Kitchen Supplies and Athletic Supplies,
A special thanks to
Wal-Mart and other area companies for providing the majority of
supplies mentioned above. As mentioned earlier, these items
were passed out by people from all walks of life and skill
sets. Along with handing out the above items, services were
also provided. Some of the special skills provided were the
services of two beauticians, Electricians, Plumbers, Drywallers,
Painters, Furniture Upholsters, Photographer/Videographers, and
Kitchen Staff just to name a few. Because of these talents,
hair was cut, toilets were installed, walls were repaired and
painted, furniture was repaired and many other skills, not
listed here, were utilized by the residents of Williamson, West
Virginia, free of charge.
Now the time has come to once again send P. E. Calhoun packing.
With your support, he will be joining a team on another missions
trip this fall [location TBA]. The success of the Williamson,
West Virginia missions’ trip could have only happened through
supporters like you. The residents of Williamson, West
Virginia were given a blessing of hope. Provide a blessing of
